Alternate between easy and hard training days. Run in groups for motivation. Always warm up before and cool down after running. Stay hydrated and eat properly. Wear appropriate shoes and running gear. Be mindful of the running surface. Pay attention to injuries and rest if needed. Listen to your body and take a break if you feel tired on race day. Reduce training intensity (taper) before race day.

If menstruating, use unscented sanitary products and change them after the run. Consider using a menstrual cup for added comfort. Medical station volunteers are available for assistance in emergencies.
Wear lightweight, breathable clothing to avoid overheating. Take regular showers to maintain hygiene. Choose underwear and running shorts with built-in liners for comfort. Invest in good-quality socks to minimize blisters.
